Acupuncture needles are about as thin as a whisker, nothing like the needle used for a shot. Most people feel very little, and many are surprised by how relaxed they get. We'll go at your pace and check in with you throughout.

Yes. Every needle is sterile, single-use and individually packaged. It's opened just before use and disposed of in a medical waste container afterwards.

Yes. Your first visit is an exam and consultation at no cost and with no obligation (a $100 value). If you decide acupuncture is right for you, we'll explain your options and costs before any treatment begins.

Many insurance plans do, including auto-injury claims. Give us your insurance details and we'll check your benefits for you before your visit.

It depends on what we're treating. Most often we use points on the arms below the elbows and the legs below the knees. Other common areas are the back, abdomen and ears. You'll always know what we're doing and why.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that rolls up easily above the elbows and knees. Bring a list of any medications or supplements, and your insurance card if you'd like us to check your coverage.

Everyone is different. After your free exam we'll recommend a plan based on what we find, and we'll review your progress together as we go.

Life happens. Please call us as early as you can if you need to change your appointment, so we can offer that time to someone else. We'll go over our cancellation policy when we book.
